Job Description:

  • Provide professional, courteous and efforts to create an exceptional dining experience for all\r\nour guests. The server’s primary objective is to ensure all guests are provided the utmost\r\ndining experience where extensive experience in hospitality can be put to use and develop\r\nguest relations and loyalty.\r\nDuties And Responsibilities:\r\n? Welcome and greet guests. Ensure that all guests are given the necessary attention and\r\na sense of urgency to create an exceptional lasting impression.\r\n? Prepares room for dining with tables set up according to “Smokey Blues” Standards\r\n? Protects establishments and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol\r\nbeverage control policies.\r\n? Assist the guest’s selection of food and beverages by presenting a menu; offering\r\ncocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef’s specialties; identifying\r\nappropriate wines; answering food preparation and dietary restriction questions.\r\n? Transmits order to the bar and kitchen by recording guests’ choices with POS;\r\nidentifying guest special needs and other special requests.\r\n? Keep the kitchen informed by noting the timing of meal progression.\r\n? Serves orders by picking up and delivering to guests from the bar and kitchen;\r\ndelivering accompaniments and condiments from the kitchen.\r\n? Responds to any additional guest requirements by inquiring about needs; observing the\r\ndining process.\r\n? Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils;\r\nrefilling beverages; being alert to guest special needs.\r\n? Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to\r\nreturn.\r\n? Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bills; accepting payment; payment using\r\nterminal machines through credit and or room charges.\r\n? Basic Knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling\r\n? Posses’ general math skills and knowledge in operating POS system\r\n? Excellent Verbal or Written Communication\r\n? Enthusiasm to Hospitality and committed to exceptional service.\r\n? Positive Attitude, Teamwork, Persistence, Energy Level and Professionalism\r\n? Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.\r\n? Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to\r\n25 pounds.\r\n? Punctuality and reliable attendance\r\n? Must be detail oriented.\r\n? Smart Serve Certified and Food Handler’s Certified are required.
